Research for this project revealed that a great many Baby Boomers plan to hang on to the job they have for as long as possible, socking away more social security and, hopefully, adding some savings.
The AARP magazine, The New Retirement, stated that most Baby Boomers have less than $50,000 in savings, and most need about ten times that much to even consider full retirement. Therefore, sticking to the job you already have might be the safest bet.
But if you are even considering a job change, either part-time or full-time, when you hit that magic birthday, KNOW THIS…MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR OLDER WORKERS COME ABOUT EVERY DAY.
